The Ohaus HP-320 Hand-Held Scale is a high capacity mini scale capable of weighing items up to a whopping 320 grams with accuracy to ±2 grams . The HP-320 offer 4 different weighing modes: grams, ounces, pennyweight, and troy ounces. The HP-Series display has an electronic luminescence back light source allowing the display to be read easier in poor lighting environments. Activate this feature by pressing the Light Bulb key. The back light will automatically turn off after 10 seconds. In addition, the HP-Series can be calibrated to ensure precision accuracy for all your weighing needs. We highly recommend you always purchase the optional calibration mass whenever you purchase one of the Ohaus HP-Series Handheld Scales. Ohaus also recommends in their user manual for best results to calibrate the HP-120 / HP-320 at regular intervals. Calibration is especially important if the scale is in use for prolonged periods. Calibration could be easier and we have outlined the instructions below for you to review, but you must purchase this optional calibration mass to take advantage of this nice feature . The calibration instructions listed below are for the HP320. The exact same steps are followed for the HP-120 except a 100 gram calibration mass is required instead of the 200 gram mass used for calibrating the HP-320 .
