Adam Lab's new CPWplus300L vet scale features largest available weighing platform Adam has to offer (35.4 x 23.6 inches) and weighs 660 lb x 0.2 lb. In addition to a bigger base, CPWplus300L is also equipped with wheels and a handle, so you can move the veterinary scale around a vet clinic.
Adam Equipment introduced new platform scales in 2008 that use the same technology as their standard CPW series, however these models have larger weighing platforms. Larger bases are durable and provide a greater weighing area for weighing larger items.
CPWplus-L floor scales offer 4 weighing modes (lb, kg, oz, lb:oz), a crisp back-lit display, color coded buttons with positive click feel, and simple, quick operation. The platform scale's indicator can be mounted where you need: on the scale, on a wall, or seated on a desk giving total flexibility for the best viewing position.
Bi-directional RS-232 interface allows connection to printers or computers. Using standard commands users can request gross, net and tare weights be sent automatically. In order to send veterinary scale data to a computer, data communication software is required. You can purchase WinWedge along with the platform scale if you plan to use this feature.
The CPWplus300L is powered by either an AC adapter or rechargeable battery, both of which are included. Battery lasts up to 60 hours in between charging. To save battery life, the back-lit display can be set to always on, off or automatically on for 10 seconds when a weight is placed on the platform.
